Yes...oh and I just read Kris' comment properly. Yes that's a pretty apt description. For reasons unknown to me I bought happiness on DVD and sitting through it twice defied belief. I hope never to venture into that world again - but the follow up, if it's about the aftermath rather than the original events, could be worth seeing.Bellshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01961733332080072331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7639104039967253280.post-58467585994650624902010-06-06T08:30:15.147+10:002010-06-06T08:30:15.147+10:00i saw happiness. It sounds like it might be worth seeing.Bellshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01961733332080072331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7639104039967253280.post-53866972361829200272010-06-05T11:53:21.945+10:002010-06-05T11:53:21.945+10:00I understand the response from Kris.
This film was...I understand the response from Kris.
This film was no where near as confronting as Happiness. The topic was not as distasteful as it was much more about the aftermath and learning to live again than Happiness was.

Glad to hear you liked it. I enjoyed it but wanted a bit more.jphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05720872464805696746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7639104039967253280.post-83278481571444108342010-06-05T11:02:00.457+10:002010-06-05T11:02:00.457+10:00oh it was so wet yesterday -thankfully there is su...oh it was so wet yesterday -thankfully there is sunshine todaymissfeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06081767274398500758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7639104039967253280.post-27346171381734375672010-06-05T09:01:35.357+10:002010-06-05T09:01:35.357+10:00I'm intrigued you liked the film so much. It's the only time in my life I seriously considered getting up and leaving the theater. It was just very disturbing and gross and discomforting. I wonder if he's toned that down for this film, or if you just have a higher tolerance for his style than me! I'll have to go read some other reviews and see if I can find a comparison...Krishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02278844369320771025noreply@blogger.com
